THE

PRICKLES

HELL BENT AND GLORY BOUND

The Prickles rode out of the West back in the ole stampede days of '89. A bunch of rootin' tootin' cowpokes singin' dusty cowboy tunes from the likes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and lots more three chorders.

Many folks caught them in those wild and crazy days from '92 to '94 at the Broadway Hotel. Since then they've played all over: Beach Hotel‑Byron Bay, Tamworth Hotel, Cat & Fiddle, Commercial‑Balmain, Botany View, Rose of Australia, Kurrajong‑Erskineville, Bat and Ball, Racecourse, Exchange, Arizona Bar, Coogee Bay Hotel, Mosman Rowing Club, Five Dock RSL and the good ole Hollywood Country Music Club.

The Prickles' special brand of Texas twang can be found on their CD recording 'Just Because' with vocals shared by Dollar Bill and the delightful Miss Monica. The title track gained the band good airplay and was accompanied by a video clip that caught the imagination of television viewers right across the country.

Catch The Prickles live and you'll find Dollar Bill singin' lead vocals along with Daddy Hank on lead guitar, Slim on rhythm guitar, Grits on the bass and Groovy on the drums.

So long buckaroos and buckarettes. See y'all at the next hoedown!
